Ryan was larger than life whose sense of humor was infectous. His personality would take over a room with a radio voice to match. It would be easier to describe what he wasn’t than what he was as he accomplished so many things and was always in the pursuit of more. He was a multi-disciplined engineer who loved all things science and tech. He was the consummate entrepreneur continuously building and developing. If it was powered by electricity or rocket fuel, he either knew or wanted to know how it worked and he most likely knew and would lose you with an explanation because yes…he was that smart.
He had a special passion for everything electronic and was an accomplished electronic music producer and entertainer who toured the world, releasing many tracks of his own and helping countless others create theirs. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by the love of his life, Christina McIntosh, his parents, Thomas and Susanne Gatesman of Hebron, Indiana, his brother Lee Gatesman (Niki) of Portage, Indiana, his sister Shanna Gatesman (Chase) of Chicago, Illinois, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and countless friends all across the United States and the world who were deeply touched by him.
