Samuel William Barnes Sr., 72, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on June 7, 2013, born in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Norman and Esther. He was predeceased by his parents, his daughter Shawdra and son Samuel Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Charlotte, daughter Sonya (Anthony) Paterno, daughter-in-law Tami, 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild, brother Howard (Esther), sister Sherri (Jay) McCurdy and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, June 12, 2013 at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Sam will be deeply missed.
