Santia Rose Soety

Sandy was the youngest of 8 children, born in Erie PA on November 6th, 1932 to the late Luigi & Josephine Milesenna Caravaglia. Sandy enjoyed decorating as it was her passion in life. During the 70’s she owned and operated Le’Sans Gifts & Wicker on 8th Street and then at the Liberty Plaza in Erie. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. More recently in the community she lived in, she looked forward to playing bingo twice a week.

She was preceded in death by our father, Leon “Rags” Soety and 5 siblings; Louie, Angelo & Tom Caravaglia, Vita Latona & Lena Mariella. She is survived by her three daughters; Michele Breining of FL, Marissa Woolgar & her husband Carl of Phoenix AZ, Marcie Teague of Phoenix AZ and her stepson Ronald Soety & his wife Judy of Peoria AZ; her siblings Lillian Detzel & Frank Caravaglia both of Erie; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The celebration of her life will be in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to an organization of your choice.
