Sara "Sally" Bazemore Kent, June 6, 1952-January 15, 2016, passed away peacefully at the Sherman Home surrounded by her loving family. Sally grew up in College Park, Georgia and graduated from College Park High School in 1970. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2008 to marry the love of her life. She was a loving mother, compassionate soul and hardworking woman. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, David and Juanita Bazemore, and brother Thomas Bazemore. She is survived by husband, David Kent, daughter Amanda Ratliff, son Justin (Lacey) Moody, brothers James (Jessie) Bazemore and Jack (Nancy) Bazemore and 4 granddaughters. Memorial service to be planned at College Park United Methodist Church, College Park, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Sherman Home, Hospice of the Valley 5801 E. Mayo Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85054. Her light was bright and her smile unforgettable.
