Socorro Marquez Fuentes

Born in Chihuahua, Mexico March 14, 1949 to Maria Dolores Marquez Hernandez

She moved from Tucson, Arizona to California in 1977 striving for a better life along with her husband Roberto Fuentes. During her time in California Socorro worked endlessly at home bringing up her young children, enjoying her time with family and friends and maintaining an Immaculate home.

Socorro then moved to Arizona in 1995 in the continuation of the American Dream in buying their new home and being part of her growing children and grandchildren.

Socorro’s passion and life fulfillment was to watch and be part of her sacrifices moving to Cali-fornia and back to Arizona to ensure that her family would prosper and live happy life’s.

Socorro’s nickname was “Coyo” among family and friends. She always dressed in beautiful bright colors to match her glowing personality and beautiful smile. Socorro would always brighten up the room with her pristine look, Hair done to detail and jewelry to complete the great woman and mother she always exemplified.

Socorro enjoyed shopping and loved to listen and dance to Spanish music. She also loved hos-pitality, keeping an Immaculate home and making delicious home meals for family and friends or at large family gatherings that left you wanting more.

Socorro remained strong and courageous to her last days of fighting cancer as she was in life protecting her family and ensuring all were taken care of by making her unique and second to none delicious meals or having a motherly conversation making any problem or situation be given a positive direction in god’s name and faith.

Socorro loving and dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother will be deeply missed by all that knew her; but her memories will never be forgotten.

Socorro is survived by her (6) Six children Roberto (deceased), Lorenzo, Robert,

Lourdes, Claudia, Jeannette and her (11) Eleven Grandchildren Valerie, Lorenzo, Robert, Audrey, Emma, Nicole, Anthony, Christopher, George, Michael, Esabella and 1st great grand-child Phoenix and 2nd great grandchild (Jasper) on the way.
