Susan Patricia Kellogg

Susan P. Kellogg was born on April 2, 1942 in Jackson, MS and died on September 4, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ. This Mississippi gal moved to Sarasota, FL where she grew into a young teen with her older brother, Roger and little sister, Linda. She enjoyed the beach life, fishing , and baseball. The Sheppard family moved to Nepal where Susie rubbed elbows with the royal family at their palace and on safari. During her Nepalese adventures she met her future husband, Roy. After returning to Florida and graduating from Webber College, Susie found herself married and on a ship bound for Pakistan. 23 years of life overseas not only filled her homes with 4 children and many "adopted" marines, but also many a passport (Nepal (5 1/2), Pakistan (5), Jordan (1), South Vietnam (2), Afghanistan (3), Thailand (2 1/2), Egypt (4), to name a few). Susie always had fond memories and elaborate stories to share always ending with "they will be in my book one day". She is survived by her daughters, Catherine (Todd) Gary, and Patricia Kellogg; son, Kevin (Cristina) Kellogg; grandchildren, Hannah Kellogg and Mark S. Kellogg; and sister Linda Sheppard-Millette.
