

Thomas Richard Bayus Jr., 49, of Phoenix, Arizona went to be with The Lord on April 11, 2015. Thomas was born on September 27, 1965 in Youngstown, Ohio. He is survived by his Grandmother Mary Simboli Bogdan, Mother Janet Bayus, Brothers Johnny, Joey, Donny “Duck” (Jennifer) Bayus, Aunt Carole Bogdan, Father in law Donald Nemeth, former wife/best friend Deanne, Children Thomas “TJ” III (Sara), Amanda (Khris), Daniel and Phillip (Whitney) Bayus, Grandchildren, Kylee and Avery. Nephew’s and Niece’s Jaclyn, Alyssa, Logan, Rylee and Nathan. He leaves behind numerous family and friends and many in Ohio. Thomas was preceded in death by Grandparents John and Edna Bayus, Grandfather Joe Bogdan, his Father Thomas Richard Bayus Sr. As many know, Tom was born deaf but that never stopped him from doing what he wanted to do. He was loved by all and an inspiration to many. He loved and enjoyed boxing (a silver medalist in Jr. Olympics), coaching football, baseball, and wrestling. Thomas had a fierce passion for all education and coaching. Love, support, and appreciation are being sent on behalf of the family to Phoenix Fire Department and Christ Church of the Valley. His family would also like to thank the many people who came to support Tom thank you to Amy, Eric, and Nathan Kosmo. Special thanks to his dearest companion Tom Thompson (Stacey) and family. Also, those who travelled from out of state to visit him and especially cousin Ricky & Suzy Bayus from Ohio to show their support. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to www.handsacrossarizona.org in the name of Coach Tommy Bayus fund. A Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary 200 W Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Funeral service will be at 2pm at Christ Church of the Valley: 7007 W Happy Valley Rd. Peoria, AZ. Graveside service to follow at 4pm at Phoenix Memorial Park. For those able to attend Thomas’ services please wear sports attire in his honor.
