Thomas Christie Bettelon, age 56, passed away in his sleep Sunday, January 26th. He is survived by wife Cathy, daughter Stacy and sons Ryan and Chad. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary “Pat”, and father, Jack. He spent his entire working career, over 35 years, with Merrill Lynch. He was beloved in his role as mentor and was an inspiration to countless individuals within the organization. His greatest love was his family, followed closely by his passion for the game of hockey. He spent several years as Assistant Coach to the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lion’s hockey program. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 31st, at Phoenix Memorial Park, located at 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, Arizona 85027, from 4:00-6:00, with a memorial service following at 6:00. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the American Cancer Society, the Arthritis National Research Foundation, the Detroit Red Wings Foundation or a charity of your choosing.
