Born on August 21, 1964, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Judith (Dokkebakken) and Thomas Bowman, Tom spent his formative years in Plymouth, Minnesota, and later in Scottsdale, AZ, alongside his cherished sisters, Teri and Tammy. In 1988, fate brought him together with the love of his life, Judith (Conway) Bowman, and they sealed their union in marriage on November 26, 1988. Their journey was blessed with two wonderful children, Tommy and Nikki, and, more recently, graced with the arrival of two precious grandchildren, Rosallie and Emma. Family was at the heart of Tom's life, and he instilled in his loved ones the importance of unity, love, and commitment.
Tom was a man who poured his heart into everything he undertook. Whether running his own business or managing entrepreneurial property rentals, he approached every task with unwavering dedication. His "days off" were often filled with fixing things, offering a helping hand to anyone in need, or embracing the joy of family gatherings. His passion for projects, love for the lake, and zest for water skiing and barefooting were a testament to his vibrant spirit.
In November 2022, Tom received a devastating diagnosis of untreatable brain cancer. Undeterred, he fought valiantly for more time with his cherished loved ones. We remember and honor a man whose indomitable spirit touched the lives of countless friends, family members, and loved ones. Thomas Patrick Bowman II will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
For those who wish to celebrate his remarkable life, please join us at his memorial service on October 14, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Tom's honor to Hospice of the Valley, the American Cancer Society, or the Glioblastoma Foundation.
May his legacy continue to inspire us all.
