I met Tommy in high school and he was an amazing person to talk to. He was always able to make anybody laugh and had so many great stories to share. I would always look forward to MAP class to hear what Tommy had to say that day. My favorite memory was when our table in MAP would bring snacks and we would all share what we had to eat. Tommy would always make sure to bring instant noodles and other snacks for us to share  It was a small thing but it was always the highlight of my day. I know Tommy is greatly missed. And I will miss a good friend of mine. My condolences to the Hong family. 

I had the privilege of meeting Tommy in 2016 at Camp Catanese in the summer.  He was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and put a smile on everyone's face.  The entire camp adored Tommy because he was such a genuine person and made everyone feel loved.  Tommy had a huge impact on my life and I'm thankful that to have met him because I wouldn't be the same person I am today.  Miss you Tommy!

I have known Tommy for almost a year and I really enjoyed working with him he is the sweetest most caring and helpful person that  I have met in a long time. He will be missed. I will miss him asking me if I'm ok or if I need anything or our conversations about our neighborhoods the drama that goes on we didnt live to far away from each other and some of our stories were very funny. My deepest condolences to your family and friends..

I am so sorry Hong family. I’ve been one of the counselors at Camp Catanese where Tommy was a camper for a few years. 

While I didn’t necessarily have much of a personal relationship with Tommy (he was never in my cabin), it was impossible to ignore his radiant energy and the love he had for everybody, and the love everybody had for HIM. His loss is devastating. We love you guys and I am forever praying for your family 🙏🏽
