Tony was my boyfriend in tenth grade. We went to Denton High School together the first year it was open at Ryan campus. I liked my time with him; he was a good boyfriend. I enjoyed riding on the back of his Honda Rebel. He smoked Chesterfields with no filter. He said, "Rock" and "Spank spank" much to my mother's chagrin. :) We played Nintendo together and hung out at Lake Ray Roberts.

His mother gave me some nice cactus plants to keep in the rocks I found at Lake Ray Roberts. I am sorry she is also no longer living; she was kind to me.

I have a picture of him, and if I dig it out I will post it for you all. He was at my house playing Nintendo in it.

I'm sorry to read that he has died. I send my condolences to his family and friends.

I can't recall the first time I met Tony , "BONES" , but I do remember that he was at our house many times , either helping Chip work on his bike , or having Chip help him with his , & sometimes , just to shoot the breeze.  Bones & Chip developed a brotherly bond over the years , & would do anything to help each other out.  In the last few months , Bones was staying with us during the week to save on gas to commute back & forth to work. In this time , I came to consider him my brother as well. When he made mistakes , he immediately apologized , & would call himself a "sh**bird" , but he was a lovable one , & he had a heart as big as Texas , which would go to figure , because that's where he was from.  His daughter , Brittany , & his girl , Tiffany , were his world. He loved them more than life itself. I am very honored to have had the time to get to know him & form a sisterly bond with him. Chip & I both love him , & will miss him dearly.  REST IN PEACE , BONES.   YOU WERE ONE OF A KIND , & A  BEAUTIFUL & GENUINE SOUL. 

Hi my name is Chris and Tony married my sister Shavonna. They gave my family Britney before me or my other sister had any children. Britney is also known as the prettiest girl. Tony was a great and wonderful dad to Britney and an awesome brother in law to me. I will always remember him helping me put some speakers and an amp In my little Tacoma. I had some of the best sound in town thanks to him. Another time he helped me put a radiator in that truck. Tony was so happy to help and  I was so lucky to have someone with his knowledge help me. I think he did most of the work I just stood around trying to look like I knew a little bit. I honestly think Tony could fix just about anything. Tony was that brother I never had. I think he would also give me the shirt off his back if I asked. He was always there if you needed him. Thank you for all you have done for our family. We all love you and you will be greatly missed. 

I remember the first time I heard Toy’s voice,  with a phone call from my  Nice Shavonna, she said “ hey Aunt Bren-“, and Tony chimed in after her , “hi Aunt Bren-“ and we all started laughing. That’s what I remember most , the Sunny Energy that came from Tony. 
To Britney, Shavonna, and all of Tony’s loved ones, family, and friends, my heart goes out to you .

Bones!! This man was my father's best friend. My best friend. He grew to be like another father figure to me and a brother to my father. He was always smiling, even when he went through such hard times. His laugh and his smile would brighten a room with no lights. His will to be a good man was so strong. His daughter, Britney, my sister from another mister. I will always protect her for Bones. I will always be her backbone as he was to her. I will never forget the first time Bones and Britterbug made chicken tetrazzini for me, they were both so excited for me to try it and OMG it was the best dish I have ever had. I will never forget all of the times he let me cry on his shoulder, all the advise he gave me regarding family stuff. All of the laughs we shared and crazy music he showed me. We love you Bones and we will never forget you. I know you will watch over and protect us all.. I love you. 

Back 18 years ago, Tony fell in love and married my daughter, Shavonna...together they had "The Prettiest Girl", Britney...their pride and joy.  Tony loved and doted on Britney.
 I was always impressed with Tony's work ethic...he was a "giver" and would do anything he could for anyone...and in all humility.  One of the last times Tony was in the Hospital for a messed up / infected hand...Britney and I went to visit...we talked, hugged and enjoyed each others company...and we all said...I Love You...to each other.
In closing...it is my honor & privilege to have known and been the father in law of a loving father, husband, and dear friend...Tony Simington.

BONES always had an amazing way to see the good in any situation and had a way to get others to see it also. All water under the bridge, sun shining, don't worry your brothers have your back here, please have ours there. 

Bless and keep you safe Tony. May Brittany and his family find love and peace for their sorrow.
