Vasilios N. Kehagias was born 4/21/57 on the island of Lemnos, Greece in the town of Panagia. He loved the sea and even embarked to work on his first merchant ship at the age of 16. He traveled the world and visited places like St. Petersburg in Russia, Scandanavia, Johannesburg, South Africa, and Puerto Rico to name a few. He only took a short break to serve in the Greek Army.
At the age of 24, he moved to the United States. He worked as a union painter after attaining a green card. He was a widower to his wife Vivian. Vasilios N. Kehagias passed on 11/2/22 and is survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, his son Nick, his daughter-in-law Marie, and their pup Daphnoula.
A funeral service for Vasilios will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 1973 E Maryland Aveune, Poenix, AZ 85016.
