

A man who could turn any frown upside down went on to share his sense of humor and gentleness with another world. Mark was born on May 23, 1957 in Mesa Arizona and passed away on January 17, 2016 at age 58 with his wife Teri and family and friends by his side. He is survived by his wife Teri, brother Elliot and wife Sue, daughter Laela her husband Junior, and daughter Allison, step-daughter Melissa Moser, Rebecca Ortega and husband, Jose Ortega, step-son Christopher J Moser. Grandchildren: Aubree, Carlos, Jewelie, Haydin, Angelo, Lorenzo, Arianna, Tatianna, Emanuel, Romeo, Wendy, Hayden and Brandon . Preceded in death by his father and mother, Chester Lee Johnson and Mildred Ruth Johnson. Mark enjoyed life as an RN serving our veterans for 22 years, he was a minister, had a bartenders license, he loved doing karate, traveling, collecting coins, antiques and a few guns, riding his Harley, loving all animals, photography, he was an at home accomplished chef, but his favorite part of life was playing practical jokes on anyone he could and making you laugh, He was a fabulous husband, loving father, grandfather, a wonderful brother an ornery son and a great friend to many. Mark was a paraplegic for the last eight years of his life, but that did not change his sense of humor or his loving ways. His presence on this earth will be sorely missed, but he is free of any pain that was bestowed on him while here. Visitation will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, January 21st at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 W Beardsley Rd followed by a Celebration of Mark's life at 4:00pm.
