Vernon Lee Shadid

Vernon Lee Shadid (Dallas) age 55 of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on December 16, 2020. Vernon was born in Clinton, Iowa on February 10, 1965, His friends called him Dallas and he had many friend, he was a kind, caring big hearted person, if you were his friend you were his family. He loved fishing, The Chicago Bears, and his two pitbulls Thor and Storm.

Vernon was married to Christin Shadid on December 3, 2016, they were married for 4 yrs but were together for 20.

Vernon is survived by his wife Christin, his daughters Kylee Frye & Harmony Turley, and his 7 grandchildren. Vernon loved his family and friends and will be missed tremendously.

There will be no public service, instead the family is having a virtual memorial via Zoom, contact the family for more information. Those who wish to pay their respects in person may contact Christin, we do ask that if you had and cold or flu symptoms or been in contact with anyone who has that you respectfully decline until you’ve been symptom free for at least 14 days.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations towards the purchase of a keepsake Chicago Bears Urn for Vernon’s final resting place.
