Wade was a smart little kid. He always believed he was just as big as his 1 year older
brother and 2-year older sister. He talked at 1 year and used sentences at
18 months. He graduated high school a year early, went to college and had
a little too much fun. Joined the Navy at age 17 before his grades came out
that semester. He went straight to nuke school after boot camp. After a stint
In Idaho he was assigned to the USS Carl Vinson. He spent 6 years in the Navy.
Wade was married for a while and then divorced but stayed best friends with
Miranda and they shared custody of the dog, Princess.
Wade was funny. He could make a joke out of almost anything…and did.
There may not be a bigger Nebraska football fan than Wade. He loved watching
them play and planned the fall season around their schedule. Every birthday and
Christmas, he wanted Nebraska “stuff”.
Alcoholism runs in the family and Wade did not escape it until a few years ago
when he became sick. At that time, he turned his life around. He went back to school
completed the Associates Degree with honors and had made plans to transfer to ASU.
He had even gotten his car license plate to read ASUHSKR.
I think his favorite things were talking on the phone and playing with his dog Princess.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Brannen Stalians (husband Dean), father Gary Osantowski
(wife Odette), sister Shannon Burndred (husband Kim Burndred), and nephews Blake and
Lee Burndred, brother Grant Osantowski, and sister Janay Osantowski (husband Steve Zudiker),
and nephew Ocean Zudiker and niece Naomi Zudiker.
