William James Huntington Jr.

William James Huntington Jr. passed away on August 25, 2015 at 4:20am while asleep. He was born in Heavener, Oklahoma on Oct. 8, 1936. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1958 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He resided in Hutchinson, KS prior to relocating with his wife to Glendale, AZ, where he lived for the past 26 years. Bill was a public servant and served in the United States Air Force and retired from the Bureau of Land Management. He was an avid fan of K State Football and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Bill is survived by his son William S. Huntington (Brittany) and grandchildren Chloe, William Nolan, Clark, and Vance Huntington. He is preceded in death by his parents William Sr. and Helen Huntington, his sister Dorothy Brewer, his beloved cousin Mary Ellen Tidwell, his uncle Charles Huntington, and his wife Norma Jean. Funeral Services will be at West Resthaven Cemetery on Friday, August 28 at 11:00am. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation to support youth sports.
