William F. "Bill" Rourke

In 1980 he fell in love with his wife, Gail, and before long they had three amazing children. Bill was the first male teacher to teach Kindergarten in the state of Arizona. He also taught Science and Math at McKemy Junior High School for many years.

Bill leaves behind his beautiful wife, Gail Rourke; three children, Christopher Rourke, Dee Dee (David) Walker, Chrissy (Wayne) Snell; and four fantastic grandchildren, David J. Walker, Kyle Snell, Abigail Snell, & Delani Walker.

He will be remembered as a man who impacted many lives with his loss affecting many family members and friends. Bill would not want us to dwell on the sorrow but to keep his energetic and enthusiastic attitude with us. He would want us to be happy and to live our lives to the fullest, love others to the greatest extent, and most importantly, root for the sun devils.

A Family and Friends Gathering will begin at 11:00am, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery - Serenity Chapel, 2300 W. Van Buren, Phoenix, Arizona 85009 followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service beginning at 12:00Noon.
