

Willie Bee Allen-Berry was born November 5th 1929 in Hope, Arkansas to parents of Will Walker and Jessie Bell Young-Walker, who both preceded her in death. She joins her Sister, Hazel Ellen Jackson, who preceded her in death on December 23, 2010. She moved to The Phoenix area in the summer of 1954. Willie Allen-Berry was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church for over 50 years, until she became too ill to attend services. She never stopped believing in The Lord, reading her Bible everyday without fail. She leaves behind several children by past marriage to Reverend George Allen, Sr. including Juanita Grant, Mary Ann Andrews, Caroline Allen, Jessie Allen, and Jackie Allen. Reverend George Allen Sr. preceded her in death on May 26, 2006. Other children from that marriage preceding her in death include: George Allen, Jr., Roy Allen, and Evon Rey. She also leaves behind former husband William S. Berry.
She leaves behind nieces: Lena M. Rice, Beverly D. Walker, Rose M. Walker, and Valier L. Dunbar. She also leaves behind nephews: Earnest L. Walker, Jimmie L. Johnson. She leaves as well nephews by marriage, Douglas Rice and Ronald Dunbar. Willie Bee Allen-Berry also left behind 27 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren, and 19 Great-Great Grandchildren, as well as a host of other Grand Nieces and Nephews, as well as Great-Grand Nieces and Nephews.
She also leaves behind a host of other loving relatives and friends. Willie Bee was a loving and devoted mother, and aunt. Not only to her step-children and nieces and nephews, but to anyone she came into contact with. She always put the needs of others before her own. She had a forgiving spirit and always held the attitude that, “God would take care of all things in the end.” She loved and cherished everyone she knew and everyone that knew her. She will be missed dearly and loved always. May she rest in peace.
