

Frances Chapman Pendleton – Frances Chapman, 93, passed from this life on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Chapman was born in Belton, a daughter of the late James and Rosie Alene Kinard Chapman. She was retired from The Quilt Gallery in Easley and she was of the Church of God faith. Survivors include daughters, Barbara A. Allen of Slabtown, Vera A. McMahan of Belton, Laura Jean Allen of Pendleton, and Rosie O. Davis (Don) of Anderson, and Sandra Christine Jackson of Galveston, TX, sons include Leon A. Jackson of Anderson, Billy Ray Jackson (Diane) of Dacusville, and Avery Leroy Jackson (Lynn) of Belton. She is also survived by brothers, Doug Chapman, David Chapman, and Kent Chapman and sisters, Nettie Davenport, Linda Roper, and Margie Porter and 100 grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chapman was predeceased by a son, Wayne Alfus Jackson, grandchildren, Michael J. Perkins, and Brian Keith Perkins, and David Jackson and great great grandchildren, Amber Hope Perkins, and Dustin Cole Perkins. The family will receive friends Thursday at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens from 1 to 2 PM with funeral service following at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel.
