Born in Greeneville, SC, on Saturday, Oct 23, 1948; she was the daughter of the late John Tillman Howard and Francis Howard Barber, and the wife to the late Jaroll Owen.
She took great pleasure in vacations, whether relaxing at the beach, or attending car shows in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Spending time with her family was something she cherished deeply.
She is survived by her son: Greg Durham (Debby); daughter: Tammy Shuler (Randy); brother: Fred Howard; grandchildren: Dale Shuler (Olivia), Michaela Durham, Crystel Culpepper, Channing Endress (Josh), great grandchildren: Hunter and Ryleigh Shuler; Eva, Emmaline, Zander Endress.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her brother: Donald Howard; sisters: Doris Cox, Faye Saylors and Diane Owen; granddaughter: Candace Shuler.
A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens S.C. Thursday May 7th at 3:00 pm.
