Mr. Moody was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina on June 15, 1969 to Gerald and Julia Creamer Moody. He loved his family unconditionally and was a phenomenal father, beloved husband, and dutiful son. He was a true Man of God, his faith was unwavering. He was a jokester, a jack-of-all-trades, and an avid Harley lover. He also enjoyed anything outdoors, whether it be riding his Harley, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, or off-roading.
Mr. Moody is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Milesa “Missy” Moody, of Pickens; one son: Jeremy Dwight Moody, of Pickens; one daughter: Stephany Moody, of Pickens; three brothers: Jerry Moody (Rhonda) of Dacusville, Danny Moody (Christy) of Spartanburg, and Michael Moody (Tracy) of Pickens; two sisters: Penny Knight (Charles) of Greenville, and Kristal McEwen of Atlanta, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews; and of course: his lab, Marlin his grand-pups Sadie and Hazel, of Pickens.
Mr. Moody was preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Mae Parris.
For many years, Gregg worked all over the east coast as a Project Manager for Regional Utility Services. During that time, Gregg’s work ethic and fairness made him a well-respected boss, co-worker and friend. He always treated people the way he wanted to be treated, and for that, his reputation preceded him.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home in the Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM on Tuesday, prior to the service, at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home.
