

Helen Pace Easley – Helen Morris Pace, 77, of Easley, wife of the late Jerry L. Pace, passed from this life Monday morning, February 2, 2015. Mrs. Pace was born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Rena Rowland Morris. She was retired from cosmetology in Dacusville, a devoted sister, aunt, mother and grandmother, and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Easley. Survivors include son Jody L. Pace (Kimberley A.) and granddaughter Madeline L. Pace. She is also survived by sisters Bobbie Ruth McKinney, Ethel (Tootsie) Hayes and Diane Brown, brothers Troy and Curtis Morris, and many beloved nieces, nephews, friends and church family members. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Pace was preceded in death by sisters Viola Wright and Ruby Evett, and brothers Dwain, Edward and Folger Morris. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 5th, in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral home in Pickens with the Reverend Paul Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Veteran’s Garden at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
