Easley – Nora Irene McCall Howard Owen, 71, wife of Charles Owen, died Thursday, October 22, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Travelers Rest. Mrs. Owen was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Fate and Mae Breedlove McCall. She was a member of Amazing Grace Fellowship in Pickens. Mrs. Owen was twice married, first to the late Paul Harvey Howard. Survivors include her husband Charles Owen of the home, children, Almedia Baker, Lynn Noa, Kathy Talbert, Venita Talbert, Donna Daniel, and Ricky Owen 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Clara Belle Bradley and Kathy Bagwell. In addition to her parents and first husband, Mrs. Owen was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille Bruke and Vernell Muckler and brothers, Jack McCall, Lowell McCall, Hastin McCall, and Laylon McCall. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Friday October 30, 2015 at Amazing Grace Fellowship with funeral service following at 11 AM. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
