Pickens – James Frank Chapman, 102, passed from this life on Wednesday August 23, 2017. Mr. Chapman was born in Pickens, son of the late Silas Robert and Maude Nix Chapman. He was retired from Mayfair Mills, Pickens Plant and was a member of East Pickens Baptist Church. Surviving Mr. Chapman is a sister Lula Mae Chapman, nephew Steven W. Brown and niece Georgia B. Dickard. In addition to his parents, Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by a sister, Flora Brown and infant brother John Clyde Chapman. A graveside service will be conducted 2 PM Friday at Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Jamie Duncan and The Reverend Meg Jackson Clark officiating. Burial will follow.
