James Lowell Elkins,82, of Easley went to be with his Lord Thursday, August 30, 2018. Born in Bergoo, West Virginia, the husband of Martha Elkins, father of Tina Elizabeth Elkins and the son of the late Buster and Irene Elkins
Mr. Elkins was employed by Ryobi as an engineer,plant manager Ryobi, Rynosa, Mexico and served as a Ruling Elder at Liberty Presbyterian Church in Liberty, South Carolina and was very loved by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Martha of forty four and a half years, a daughter Tina, one nephew; Jackie Lee Turner, two nieces; Kathy Neaves Sherri Neaves Goodin and Carol Davis a very dear friend . Mr. Elkins also has eight sisters, and one brother to share in his memory. In addition to his parents, Mr. Elkins is predeacesed by two sisters.
A visitation will be held Sunday September 2, 2018 1pm until 1:45 pm. Services will follow at 2pm in the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Service will be officiated by Reverend Kenneth Lawson.
