Easley – James Stewart Head, 69, husband of Marquetta York Head, passed from this life on Saturday, June 14, 2014. James was born in Haywood County, NC son of the late Earl McClain and Lois Haney Head. He was retired from Michelin Tire Company and he attended Wren Church of God. In his spare time he loved to play golf. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Marquetta Head of the home, son, Darrell Head of Williamston and daughter, Kim Shelton of Pickens. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Kaitlin Head, Logan Head, Daniel Shelton, and Elysha Shelton. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with funeral services following at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with The Reverend Dean Webb officiating.
