She was born on February 19, 1930, to the late Edgar Lee Hadlock and Leora Florence Benson.
Joanne was an avid golfer who enjoyed watching the sport in her leisure time. She loved to travel, with Italy and Rome among her favorite destinations. In her earlier years, Joanne was an active leader in several organizations. She was an executive secretary with Indianapolis Power and Light for 25 years and retired in 1991.
A devoted Christian, she radiated love and compassion in every aspect of her life. Known for her warm, outgoing nature, she made a lasting impression on everyone she met—once you met Joanne, you were sure to like her.
Her beautiful smile and vibrant sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Joanne is survived by her brother, James Hadlock, and sister-in-law, Karen Hadlock, niece, Lori Hadlock and nephew, Bryan Hadlock and many great-nieces, and great-nephews.
