Travelers Rest, SC – Mr. Joseph F. Rucci, age 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 20, 2024. He was born on April 10, 1933, to the late Frank J and Dorothy Brinkman Rucci.
Mr. Rucci is survived by his four sons: Michael Rucci from Travelers Rest, South Carolina, Scott Rucci (Julia) from Raleigh, North Carolina, Christopher Rucci (Erica) from Greer, South Carolina and Robert Rucci (Mary Beth) from Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Mr. Rucci leaves behind many precious and loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and three siblings, Joan, Sis, and Bobby.
Mr. Rucci was predeceased by by his beloved wife of 65 years Darlene Rucci and a son Brian Rucci (Melissa) whose surviving wife remains dear to the family.
Mr. Rucci loved fishing, singing in barbershop quartets, reading poetry, and watching old movies. He especially loved traveling the world with his bride and serving beside her in their church.
A memorial service will be held at Upcountry Church at 15 Renfrew Ave Travelers Rest, South Carolina 29690, on June 14th at 6:00p.m.
