Marietta – Katherine Elizabeth “Kathy” Besaw Monaghan, 71, widow of Robert Edward Monaghan, passed from this life on Thursday March 28, 2019.
Kathy was born in Watertown, NY, a daughter of the late Bernard Besaw and the late Katherine Janet Henshaw Eastwood.
Survivors include her son, Jason Barringer of Easley and her daughters, Kathy Hunter of Easley, Ann Gregg of Marietta, and April Strickland of Liberty, twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Shirley Williams of Pickens and brothers, Charles Besaw of Syracuse, NY, and John Besaw of Plantersville, TX.
A private memorial service will be held.
