Lewis Brooks

Ken was born in Pickens County, son of the late Albert and Sadie Simpson Brooks. He was retired as a supervisor at Franklin Dyed Yarns in Greenville and he was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church. In his earlier days, Ken enjoyed league bowling.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Shelby Jean Brooks of the home, daughters, Linda Patterson (Gary), Debbie Crum (Charles), and Sharon Teat (Robert) all of Easley and Vicki Simpson of Pickens and a son, Jimmy Brooks (Tina) of Dacusville. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 2 – 3:15 pm with funeral services following at 3:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
