Loretta was born on October 23, 1940, in Pickens County, daughter of the late Furman W. Duncan and Winnie Cantrell Duncan. Loretta was retired from Saco Lowell and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed working outside in her yard and gardening. Her biggest joy was spending time with her grandbabies.
Surviving are one daughter, Beverly Mulkey; one son, Stanley Ellenburg; one brother, Jack Duncan; one sister, Shelby Jean Crowe; two grandchildren, Jenna Ellenburg Waldrop and Brian David Widener; four great-grandchildren, Brianna Rae Widener, Alissa Crump, Kane Gage Widener and Anna Eleanor Waldrop, and one great great-grandson, Bane Xavier Martin. Loretta was preceded in death by four brothers, Jerry Duncan, Robert Duncan, Bill Duncan and Mickey Duncan, and one sister, Kathy Lackey Putnam.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
