

Born on December 8, 1932, she was the daughter to the late Gladys and Wade Gilstrap. She was a devoted member of Pickens View Wesleyan Church until her health declined and worked as a textile weaver at the Alice Manufacturing Foster Plant.
She had a special relationship with her sisters and enjoyed going out to eat and shopping with both. She enjoyed word searches, reading and spending time with her daughter and grandson.
In her earlier years she enjoyed spending time with her husband at their lake house on Keowee and going to the beach.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Nealey; grandson, David Berry; two sisters, Ophelia Stewart, Evelyn Roper; and numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. She also leaves her two beloved furbabies, Gracie and Trixie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Ray Nealey.
A visitation for Margaret will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 1:40 pm at Dillard Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy Pickens, SC.
A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Pickens View Wesleyan Church, 744 Bethlehem Ridge Road Pickens, SC.
