Mr. Hendricks was born in Six Mile, SC on June 13, 1938 to the late George Raymond and Bertie Mae Parrot Hendricks. He retired from Mohawk Industries. Mr. Hendricks loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted member of Griffin Baptist Church where he loved his Church family. He also enjoyed being on the farm with his cows, playing the guitar and singing.
Mr. Hendricks is survived by his two children: Cindy Blackwood (John) and Phil Hendricks (Carol), both of Pickens; six grandchildren: Eric Blackwood (Leah) of Germantown, OH, Kristen Frawley (Colin) of Greer, SC, Amanda Bailey (Jonathan) of Simpsonville, SC, Kevin Hendricks of Hinesville, GA, Kennedy Hendricks of Pickens, and Morgan Blackburn of Pickens; five great-grandchildren: Remington Hendricks, Jayse Bailey, Abigail Bailey, Kayson Bailey, and Sophia Bailey.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hendricks was preceded in death by his beloved wife Martha Sue Anthony Hendricks; and his eleven brothers and sisters: Rebecca, Elton, Marvin, Franklin, James, Vando, Oneida, Lawrence, Helen, Vera, and Raymond Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on, July 29, 2024, at Griffin Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:45 PM until 2:45 PM at the Church on, July 29, 2024, prior to the service.
The family is at their respective homes.
