I worked with Mike at Pickens. He was a great medic and a good friend. So very sorry for your loss

My prayers for the family. I had the privilege of working with Mike at Pickens County.  He was such a sweet man, who always seemed to manage a smile.  I will miss his always bright and funny facebook posts.

Mike was genuinely a good man. I never will forget his smile and his great jokes. He will be missed by many. Praying for you Lisha and for your family.

My sincere heartfelt sympathies go out to Ms. Evelyn and rest of family. Will be much in prayer for all!

Mike was always fun to talk to. He was free with his advice and always had suggestions to make the County better. We frequently had time to discuss NASCAR and who the villains were. A good guy , if for no other reason,  HE WAS A CAVALRY MAN!

I will never forget the time that mom fell and broke her leg we were all at work so mom called EMS Mike was on call.when I received the call that mom have fell left work to go to the hospital when I walked in the room there was Mike standing over mom and holding her hand. She was afraid being alone and he stayed with her until I got there. That just the kind of man he was .He will be missed. love and prayers for the family

So sorry about Mike’s passing.He was a wonderful friend and his presence will be greatly missed by everyone.Will not be the same at church without him there.Our prayers to the Roper family and know that if there’s anything we can do just let us know.We love each one of you .

Praying for the family.  Mike was a Facebook friend who will be missed!  I will miss reading his posts which always brought a smile to my face.  I will miss his Nam and EMS stories!  He was certainly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

Evelyn, Lisha, Dedra, Shawn, Travis, Janice, Gary, Kenneth, and extended families, I am so sorry about the loss of Mike.  May the Lord be with you during this time of grief and lift you up and carry you. I am praying that Jesus gives you strength. I love you!

I have many fond memories of working with Mike at PCEMS. I’m sure those of us that had the honor of working with him and the many patients he treated over the years will all agree Mike touched each of our lives in a special way.  We all owe him gratitude for the knowledge he shared with us. He will truly be missed. Thank you his family for sharing Mike with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with y’all. 

I remember Mike from his EMS days.  So caring and concerned about each one of the people he came in contact with.  Never a harsh word did I hear from him.  Kind compassionate and caring.  He will be missed
