Miriam C. Lyles

Easley – Miriam Samantha Crowe Lyles, Age 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 9, 2020. Ms. Lyles was born in Pickens County, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Lonie Crowe and Vera Mae Roper Crowe and wife to the late Robert Denver Lyles.

Survivors include granddaughters Samantha Carracino from Easley, South Carolina, Stacy Mizzell (Michael) from Travelers Rest, South Carolina and Michelle Marshall from Travelers Rest, South Carolina and grandson Jason Sherbert from Traverlers Rest, South Carolina. She is survived by four loving and caring great grandchildren Alyssa, Taylor, Jordan and Jayden. Also surviving are sisters Fannie Belle Mauldin and Sarah Mae Redding and a brother Jesse Crowe.

Ms. Lyles was predeceased by her two daughters Deborah Nix Johnson and Miriam Lisa Sherbert and siblings Bud Crowe and Tom “Guy” Crowe.

Ms. Lyles loved to crochet. She had a crochet needle in her hands most all times making blankets and baby clothes. If she was not crocheting she was reading a book. She loved watching old westerns on TV but "please don’t play the radio". Ms. Lyles was a dog lover and loved baking. Her family favorites was apple pie and pound cake. She was a long time member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Seneca, South Carolina. She will be missed.

A visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM with Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
