Moises was born in Oaxaca, Mexico on September 4, 1982 to Jovita Ramos Martinez (Miguel Sandoval) of Mexico, and the late Bartolome Castorela Garcia. He worked as a painter who always was out to better himself. He loved to make new friends and was always helping others and enjoyed playing soccer. Moises was a great brother and friend to many. He was a member of both Iglesia Baptista Betania and Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Latinoamericana Churches.
In addition to his mother and step-father, Moises is survived by his two children: Lizet Castorela of Mexico and Moises Castorela, Jr. of Bryson City, NC; and his six brothers and sisters: Leonor Castorela, Maricela Castorela (Adrian Vargas), Roberto Castorela, Imelda Sandoval Ramos (Jose Manuel Valdez), Jazmin Sandoval Ramos (Aristeo Perez), and Eduardo Sandoval Ramos (Maricela Sandoval).
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Greenville.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Dillard Funeral Home.
