Born on May 14, 1941 in Rocky Bottom, South Carolina to the late Martha Powell and Richard "Woodrow" Cantrell.
Myrtle enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially shopping trips and her regular visits to the salon. Myrtle was proud to be part of Truth Missionary Church in Greenville.
Myrtle is survived by her Son Richard Wayne Ellenburg; daughter, Tammy Lynn Boysworth; granddaughter, Tamara Cassidy Boysworth; and sisters Betty Russell, Gladys Ellenburg, Joyce Abercrombie (Danny), Patsy Bailey (Steve).
In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in passing by her brother, Richard "Junior" Cantrell.
A visitation will be held on February 16, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm at Dillard Funeral Home, located at 2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671.
A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm in Dillard Funeral Home's
Garden Room.
Myrtle's life was a testament to her enduring spirit and the love she shared with those around her. She will be remembered with great fondness and respect.
