Nellie S Knight

Nellie Sue Entrekin Knight, 82, wife of the late J.B. Knight, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Rainey Hospice House. Born on October 11, 1934, in Six Mile, SC, she was the daughter of the late Reverend Clarence E. and Selma Durham Entrekin. Mrs. Knight was retired from Shirt Makers in Pickens, SC, after 30 years of service, and was also a faithful member for over 60 years at Gap Hill Church of God. She enjoyed traveling and photography and above all, she loved her family. Surviving are her two sons, Reverend Rickey Knight (Theresa) of Honea Path, and Jeff Knight; two sisters, Nora Stephens (Wilton) of Central, and Rosa Lee Isbell (James) of Westminster; six grandchildren, Amanda Sturkie (Jason), Corey Knight (Renee), Brian Knight (Nicole), Reverend Jonathan Knight (Paige), Kayla Thompson (Steve), and Matthew Knight; twelve great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Knight was also predeceased by one daughter, Susan Elaine Knight, and two brothers, Ernest and David Entrekin. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Gap Hill Church of God, with visitation prior from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Burial will follow the services at Kings Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to thank Foothills Assisted Living Staff and Rainey Hospice House Staff, for all of the exceptional care. Much appreciation to Oconee Hospital and especially Dr. Davis and Nurse Ashley McClain, the love, compassion and attention shown to Mrs. Knight and her family, will never be forgotten.
