Lynn was born on December 9, 1957, in Transylvania County, NC, the only child of Gerald Lesley Parris and Della Lee McKinney Plumblee. Lynn enjoyed working from home. She loved her children and family and everything involving the care of their home. She worked for the Census every ten years and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Roger Dale Barton; two children, Jessica Jennings and Joseph Barton (Dianna); two grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Jennings and Jesse James Jennings and one great-granddaughter Kali Lynn Kjear. Lynn was preceded in death by her daughter Julia Lynn Barton.
The family will receive friends on Friday November 27, 2020, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
