Russell loved spending time with his family! His hobbies included going to auctions and watching television mostly football and NASCAR, he was a diehard Dale Earnhardt fan!
Surviving are his mother, Shirley Burrell, and his loving wife of 27 years, Melissa Burrell. Three daughters, Brittany Hannah, Stephanie Slade (Dustin Holcombe), Brooklynn Lynch, and a son, Braden Lynch. Two brothers Harold (Dean) Burrell and Robert (Bobby) Burrell, and one sister Diane Browning. One granddaughter who was his pride and joy Amanda Hannah, and one niece who he thought the world of Angela Hayes (Dustin).
Russell was preceded in death by his father, Charles Burrell Sr and a brother Charles Burrell Jr (Chuck).
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the Dillard Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Guy Roberts officiating.
