Scott Shawn Goyette

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on December 21, 1971, Scott was the son of Robert John Goyette and Yvonne Patricia Allen.

Scott was a devoted family man, known for his strong work ethic and his love for his family. Scott’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He took immense pride in being a loving father and grandfather. Scott enjoyed finding new recipes to cook and cheering on the Boston Bruins. In his spare time, Scott enjoyed cruising in his cherished Mustang "Hot Rod", a symbol of his love for adventure and freedom. He also enjoyed gaming with his PlayStation family. Scott had a fondness for simple pleasures and enjoyed a glass of Captain and Coke. His warmth, humor, and generosity will be missed by all who knew him.

Scott is survived by his mother, Yvonne Allen Goyette; daughter, Krystal McCracken (Brandon); daughter, Courtney Good (Leroy III); daughter, Samantha Ubiles (Benny); daughter, Rayne Goyette; and son, Aiden Goyette; two brothers, Michael Goyette and Jason Goyette. He also leaves his grandchildren: Zayden, Kaden, Easton, Lyla, Cambria, Leroy IV, and Jaxson to cherish his memory.

Scott was predeceased by his father, Robert John Goyette, and now joins him in eternal rest.

A visitation for Scott will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, 2402 Gentry Memorial Highway, Pickens, South Carolina 29671.
