Ms. Shelby Crowe

Shelby was born in Easley, South Carolina, on May 25, 1937, to the late Furman and Winnie Cantrell Duncan. She was a member of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church. She was a lunchroom lady at McKissick Elementary School and she owned her own beauty shop. For as long as she could, she enjoyed planning family reunions. hosting cookouts, homemade ice cream get togethers, and going on annual trips to the mountains. She was a loving MaMa and GiGi. She loved baking everyone's favorite cake and calling them to sing happy birthday! She enjoyed reading her Bible and watching her hummingbirds. Her love was the foundation of her family, and she will be greatly missed.

Shelby is survived by her son: Tony Crowe (Jo Ann); three grandchildren: Jennifer Whitmire (Gabriel), Heather Allison (Steve) and Jaclyn Payne (Ryan); and four great- grandchildren: Eliza, John-Luke, Everett, and Aaron Whitmire.

In addition to her parents, Shelby was preceded in death her beloved husband of 67 years Bennie Crowe; her daughter Jane O'Brien; and seven siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Pm on Saturday February 21, 2026 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
