

David Earl Lovins, 59 of Keyrock passed away Friday, October 30, 2015. Born December 30, 1955 at Mullens, WV, he was the son of the late Willard Lovins and Ruth Prichard Lovins of Keyrock. David never met a stranger and would help anyone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and spending time with his family. He was a coal miner for 20 years, working hard underground to provide for his family until he got covered up and then became disabled. In addition to his father, Willard Lovins, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lovins, a sister, Betty Keene, a son, David Dewayne (Perky) Lovins, grandson, Kyle David Cline, nephews, Randy Shawn Harvey, John Dereck Meade and Cory Lovins, a niece, Chanel Bentley, father-in-law, Kenneth Wayne Lester and mother-in-law, Mary Lou Lester. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Ruth Prichard Lovins of Keyrock; daughters, Christina Walls and her husband, Verdis of Keyrock, Allison Lovins and fiancé Chris Brooks of Fairmont, and Amber Lester of Keyrock; a son, Jonathon Lovins of Keyrock; sisters, Delores Osborne and her husband, Larry of Oceana, Thelma Frazier and her husband, Roger of Bristol, VA, Belvia Meade and her husband, Jerry of Oceana, Sheryl Fritz of Keyrock, Nadine Laxton of Keyrock and Carolyn Shumate of Rockview; brothers, Jimmy Lovins and his wife, Linda of Kopperston, Brad Lovins and his wife, Belinda of Matheny and Willard Lovins of Keyrock, a sister-in-law, Betty Lovins of Oceana and a brother-in-law, Ronnie Keene of North Carolina. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Marissa Lovins, Isaac Cline, Dylan Cline, Alexis Walls, Ethan Walls, and Devin Walls of Keyrock; a host of nieces and nephews, ex-wife and best friend, Linda Gleason and her husband, Ben of Keyrock. He will be loved and missed greatly.
