Andy Hay

Passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at his home in Ohio Township; He was born July 7, 1977 the beloved son of Richard Hay and Judith Mehaffey Hay. He is also survived by his sister Katherine Hay Lovett and his brother-in-law Rob Lovett. Andy was the cherished uncle of Maggie, Robbie and Luke Lovett. He will be sorely missed by his three uncles, aunts and many cousins. Andy was a 1996 graduate of North Catholic High School and he then graduated from Campbell University in North Carolina in 2000 where he had a Division I golf scholarship. Andy was a terrific amateur golfer who competed in Western Pennsylvania State and National events. He was also an accomplished hockey player in his youth at North Catholic and with the amateur Penguins. Andy was a sweet man with never a harsh word or thought for anyone. He was loved by so many and will be sorely missed. Services were held privately for the family. The family requests donations be made in Andy’s name to The First Tee of Pittsburgh, 5378 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. Arrangements were entrusted to the Orion C.
