Anna Mae Schafer Lutty

Age 91, formerly of Millvale and Mt. Troy, passed away peacefully at Vincentian Home, surrounded by family and friends, on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Beloved mother of Shirley (James) Dillon; sister of Flo Silbach and the late Elizabeth Huwe, Lavina Stackhouse, Fred, Leo, Joseph, Walter, Robert and Grant Schafer; former wife of the late William. Anna Mae was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Millvale, a 50 plus year member and past Grand Regent and Grand Council Member of the Women of the Moose. Anna Mae's daughter would like to express her gratitude and appreciation to her mother's caregivers at Vincentian Home and to AseraCare Hospice caregivers for their passionate care and support. Special thanks to family and friends who have shown their support during Anna Mae's time at Vincentian Home, especially Anna Mae's niece, Carol Koerts, for her unconditional support. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the HEALY-HAHN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 512 Grant Avenue, Millvale 412-821-2940. A funeral service will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church, 501 North Avenue, Millvale on Saturday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 501 North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15209 or Vincentian Home, 111 Perrymont Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
