

Annie Edwards Bell was born to Bishop Ernest O. Edwards and Estelle Alston Edwards on April 11, 1944, in Wilson, North Carolina.
She began her Christian life at an early age. Ann was educated in public schools in Wilson and Goldsboro, North Carolina.
She attended Durham Business College in Durham, North Carolina, Prince George Community College, Maryland and Strayer University in Washington, D.C. during her 30-year career with AT&T. She relocated to Florida on March 3, 1993, and retired on June 1, 1999.
Ann was very active in her community with the Boys & Girls Club and Special Olympics of America in Prince George County, Maryland.
In Florida, she volunteered by tutoring and mentoring at Seminole County Public Schools; and volunteered with the United Way, Orlando, Florida. As a member of Oviedo Citizen in Action, Inc. She served as Chairwoman for the Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration and held positions as Treasure and Vice President. She also volunteered at Hope Help Food Pantry in Oviedo, Florida.
Ann’s life is being celebrated by her son, Deane Watson (Susan), her Grandchildren, Sateia Watson, James Watson-Dare (Mallory), Deana Lanoy (Jason), Jameai Watson-Dare and Isaac Watson; her great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Aliana, Joziah, Jenisys, Jianni, Harper, Malachi; and her son-in-law, Michael; and many beloved relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving daughter, Terri Watson Daniels, her devoted Father and Mother, Earnest and Estelle Edwards.
