Sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Arnold.  He was sharp as a tack till the end.  He had such a great sense of humor, that will be greatly missed.  Our sympathy goes out to Uncle Chuck and all of our cousins in PA.

To the Hughey family (especially Joan and Kate Rusbasan). Linda and I regret we did not know of Hudge's passing until today (11/11). We offer our sincerest condolences to all of the family. We first met Hudge when my best friend Frank Rusbasan and Joan became friends. I was honored to serve as best man at their wedding and got to know Hudge best when Frank and Joan built their home across the street from his. Hudge was a wonderful man and we are much better for having known him. I remember his love of gardening and still remember the corn, peppers, tomatoes and onions that came from his garden as well as the garden he helped Frank and Joan to plant. It was fun working on the garage he helped to build in Frank and Joan's backyard. It was always enjoyable to be around him and he always seemed to be productively busy, but I know his first love was his family. I thank God we were able to be together one more time this past summer when my youngest granddaughter played in a softball tournament at the fields in his neighborhood. It was so nice talking with him again and stopping at his house to converse after the tournament. He was certainly one of the good guys and I know he will be greatly missed but his family legacy and memories will live on. May God bless you all and give you peace as you grieve the loss. I was saddened to hear about the  passing of Mr. Hughey. I spoke with him this past summer at the pancake house. We reminisced about the WRVAA baseball. He will surely be missed.

We were so sorry to get the news of Uncle Arnold's passing.  Our condolences to the entire family.  He will be missed by all who knew him.  I'm sure he is happy to be with Aunt Teresa again!  What a character he was.  Although we didn't live nearby, I always tried to keep him and Aunt Teresa in the loop about family happenings through a Christmas letter each year.  One year, I got the best surprise.  The phone rang and it was him.  He said, "I'm too old and lazy to sit down and write a letter back, so I just decided to pick up the phone and call."  Best surprise ever.  We had a really nice talk.  I will miss him.  Rest in peace, Uncle Arnold.

You were so proud of your family and grandchildren, being there always to celebrate their special days. Your party for 90 years was a milestone you were determined to make and you did!
