Catherine "Cassie" Marie Chalovich

Catherine (Wilhelm) Chalovich, age 94, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Catherine was born in Pittsburgh, PA. to the late Clarence and Catherine Wilhelm, sister of the late Lawrence "Corky" (late Kay) Wilhelm. Catherine married her beloved late husband George Chalovich in 1951 and together they raised their children; MaryBeth (David) Ottinger, Kathleen (Joe) Boss, George (Patty) Chalovich and Tricia (Jim) Mushinsky. She was an amazing, loving, funny, considerate Nuna to; Jacquie (Dave), late Courtney, Joey (Angela), Todd (Brooke), Jeffrey (Erin), Michael (Alicia) and great grandma to Avery, Charlotte, Avery, Adah, Jionni, and Luke.

She will be missed by her many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Cassie was a lifelong sports fan of baseball, football, golf and most especially Penguins Hockey, She was also a Participant in Basketball (all 5 foot 2 of her), bowling and golf. She enjoyed spending time with Family and friends, making ceramics, playing bingo, cards and traveling on gambling junkets. She was loved by all who had the pleasure to know her, and she will be sorely missed.

A visitation for Catherine will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Saint Teresa of Avila-Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 1000 Avila Ct, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Please meet at the funeral home at 9AM
