Cheryl loved to spend time dancing, gardening, researching her family genealogy, building puzzles, and attending her grandchildren's activities. Volunteering often from her earlier days with the school PTA groups, and a Shaler Marching Band parent, to more recently with numerous Veteran groups in the area. Cheryl was a devoted steward of Fall Run Park, whose tireless advocacy helped preserve one of our community’s most cherished natural spaces. For years, she worked passionately to protect the park from development, believing deeply that its woods, trails, and waterfall should remain a refuge for future generations. Through persistence, courage, and love for the land, Cheryl inspired neighbors and local leaders alike to recognize the value of protecting Fall Run. Cheryl will be remembered for her warm heart, caring hands, loving personality and her legacy lives on in the quiet beauty of the park she fought so hard to save.
