     I was so sorry to hear about Dan's passing. We have many memories of all the fun times, with our daughters, during band season and winterguard at Northgate. You now have a special angel watching over all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was so sorry to hear of Danny's passing.  I remember the fun times at Emsworth Manor condos when your family came over to swim.  My prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry for your lose. I worked with Dan for the past 6 years. He was a wonderful man. He loved his family with all his heart and spoke about them often.

Dan was a "summer friend" at Bellevue pool, back in our teen years (he was "Danny" to us then). It seemed he was always smiling. The pictures of him posted here show that did not change with the years. To his family and friends, and others who had the great good fortune to know him longer than I, my deepest sympathy. The abscence of one so kind and genuinely delightful is a great loss.

As I sit and wonder what to write for you, I realize that words will never help you through this pain the way I would wish them to.  I had the 'golden' opportunity to meet Dan during a winterguard performance at Northgate.  His opinion of one of my daughters performance is foremost in my memory from that initial conversation.   From that day on one fate filled day after another our daughters became good friends.  Dan had treated my daughters as if they were his own.  Our friendship has made us closer through the years, however, I will never ever forget our times together while short, memorable.  An amazing man, with an awesome zest to live the hand we are dealt.  No use complaining about that-just gotta do what you have to do.  We will forever treasure his memory, and will miss him terribly.  We wish you faith, hope and peace as you continue through this period of sadness.  Know that we are only a phone call away and that God will help you through this very difficult time.

It's been a blessing to call you neighbors for the past 8 years.   Dan was such a helpful person and never expected anything in return.  He was funny and so kind.  I'll never forget shoveling almost the entire street with him after "snowmagedon" and just having conversations of all sorts over the years.   Good memories over the years we've lived here.  You were so blessed to have him as a husband/father.  We will miss him dearly and will pray that somehow you will experience the peace that only God can bring.

Dear Daddy,
As I sit here and think of so many wonderful and memorable times we had together I wish that we had so many more.  You are truly the most wonderful father a daughter could have.  You are the most wonderful grandfather that a grandson could have.  I just remember sitting there, holding and kissing and rubbing your hands and I knew that it was going to be okay.
